Rose Hall (Developments) Limited Staff

Health and Wellness Fair RETURNS!

The first staging of the Rose Hall (Developments) Limited [RHDL] Annual Health Fair, since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, was off to a rainy start. However, that didn’t stop all 130+ employees and their families from coming out to the fair. The health fair, courtesy of the Human Resource Department, took place on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at the Palms venue, which hosts the Rose Hall Beach Club and the company’s Executive offices. The venue saw scores of employees and their families coming out to take advantage of the health and wellness services being offered.

The services of the day included free eye tests, blood sugar tests, blood pressure tests, cholesterol tests, ECG tests, HIV/AIDS and STI tests, massage therapy, and back-to-school medicals for our team members’ children. Organizations and agencies that took part in the Health Fair included Sagicor Life, Courts Optical Jamaica, St. James Public Health Service, Billy Craig Insurance, Gateway Cooperative Credit Union, Sagicor Life Insurance, Proactive Lifestyle, National Housing Trust, and the University of the West Indies-Mona School of Business.

“The Health Fair was a success. The primary aim of this yearly initiative is to contribute to the improvement of the health of our team members, allowing them to get routine testing done and referring them to their General Practitioner (GP), as required. Our employees were receptive and came out in overwhelming numbers to support this initiative led by the HR Team. We are thrilled to have partnered with the respective healthcare providers and other organizations that took part in making this day a success.” Monique Blake Cox, Human Resource Director.

“The Health Fair this year for Rose Hall was very productive. The staff got to do different tests such as a blood sugar test, ECG test and so much more, that we don’t normally take time out to do,” Clive Anderson, Rose Hall Golf Superintendent.

One of the most popular services of the day was the massage services provided by Therapeutic Touch Mobile Services. “The massage was great. I was one of the first to get it done. I look forward to next year. Thank you, Rose Hall,” exclaimed Patrice Vernon, Office Attendant, Executive Office.

The Rose Hall team, who were present at the Health Fair, had a similar sentiment. They were grateful for the services provided and they could not wait for next year’s Health Fair.
