Children’s Month Initiative At The John Rollins Success Primary & Infant School

Today members of the Rose Hall (Developments) Limited team visited the John Rollins Success Primary and Infant School located in Barrett Town, St. James, and treated the students of the school’s infant department to a fun and interactive book reading session to commemorate Child’s Month. The School’s infant department is made up of approximately 90 pupils ranging from the ages 4 to 6 years old. The visit to the school is a part of the company’s Community Relations program which usually includes the annual Summer Football Camp for children from the SOS Children’s Village- Barrett Town. The Rose Hall (Developments) Limited team members paired up to read traditional fairytale children’s books such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Tortoise and the Hare, and the Little Mermaid to the children.

After the book reading session, the children participated in an interactive session where they boasted their artistic skills as they coloured pictures from colouring books donated by the Rose Hall (Developments) Limited. After all the fun, the children settled in their respective classrooms for lunch which was catered to them by the company also.

“On behalf of the John Rollins Success Primary and Infant School, we are grateful to have the Rose Hall (Developments) Limited team visit the children. You have already contributed so much such as painting the school and you continue to assist us. Today, you are here to reach the students emotionally, intellectually, and physically and taking care of their nutritional needs. We are always grateful.”– Yvonne Miller-Wisdom, Principal of the John Rollins Success Primary and Infant School.

It was overall a fun and fulfilling day for the children who enjoyed the stories and the company of the Rose Hall’s team members.

“We are elated that the John Rollins Success Primary and Infant School accepted our invitation to interact with the children today and for allowing us to celebrate Child’s month with them. I believe our team enjoyed the experience as much as the children. And we look forward to participating and watching their growth for many years to come.”– Richard Burrowes, President of the Rose Hall (Developments) Limited.
